I designed these repair plates myself in 2008 for use on my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is the red door in the images. Since then they have gone through a few revisions to make them more aesthetically pleasing, better fitment to the contours of the door, and a larger foot print. As well as adding plates for 2nd and 3rd generation Dodge Ram trucks and the Jeep Cherokee (XJ). These plates are produced in the USA by me and sold only by me. Anything else bearing a similar resemblance is a poor copycat.

These plates, machined out of 1/8" 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, will allow you to repair the door and reinforce the door latch area without body work. In addition to the three stock bolt locations there are an additional 3 holes for screws or rivets for further reinforcement. Three self tapping screws are included with the plate. In addition there is the option for plates with replacements for the stock bolts.
